Machines are always sustainably created to help micro and medium industries to efficiently and effectively improve their product quality and quantity. Manual skewer manufacturershave produced manual tools to approach some problems with low production capacity so that when demand is increasing, there is a need to change from manual process to more advanced machines to improve product quality and quantity. The objective of this activity is to produce a machine with appropriate capacity and with better skewer quality (especially shaving machine to produce rounding-off skewers). The machine is designed with skewer profile machine (shaving machine to produce rounding-off skewers) because theproduction procces using this machine is the most needed. This activity is done with product concept plan, drawing design, prototypeing, and examination. This machine capacity is 600 skewrs per hour or 1200 skewers per hour (as the machine can work in left and right side). Propulsion engine use electric motor which is customized with electricity of up to 1300 watt.The result of this activity is a shaving machine to produce rounding-off skewers and the machine power is from electric motor AC ½ HP (375 watt).The estimated price of a skewer machine with a capacity of 1200 skewers / hour is Rp. 7.500.000,00.
