MASTERPLAN DAN TES MODEL LAPANGAN PELABUHAN PENDARATAN IKAN PANDANSIMO

Development of Pelabuhan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) or Fishery Port of Pandansimo is intended to support the exploitation of very large fish resource potencies in Indian Ocean. The long-lasting potencies of fish resource in Indian Ocean, including the offshore of Yogyakarta Special Region, the southern part of Java Island, and the offshore of Indonesian sea are predicted annually amounted to 3,400 ton, 319, 200 ton, and 905,350 ton respectively. It is hoped that the existence of Fishery Port may enhance the people prosperity by optimizing the port role for supporting the development of BantulRegency area as fish trade center and maritime tourism spot. The effort may be reached by optimizing the result of fish catching in beach area, offshore area, as well as exclusive Economy Zone, and will increase the appeals of beach as a tourism area supporting by PPI Pandansimo. Technically, PPI Pandansimo may be used for docking of ships with weights up to 150 GT, equipped with infrastructure and supporting means that will be developed in five stages according to financial capacities.
