Production centre area is the productive and prospective cultivation area developing to be development spread-out of production activities for foods and their processing, and it is also an area for economically marketing of other superior products supported by private and community investment. Particularly for Special Region of Yogyakarta Province, commodities covered in one Production Centre Area are not only come from agriculture/agro industry but also from crafting and small industries.
The development program of Production Centre Area is a part of strategy in developing local area through area-oriented approach for promoting businessbased economic activities. In the implementation, this development program of Production Centre Area is involving numerous elements of actively development actors in the efforts of solid employment network development between local government as bureaucrat element, enterprise sphere, colleges, Non-Government Organization (NGO), and Financial Institutions including both banking and nonbanking institutions.
